Our dogs have usually been below the cats in pecking order, but it's amazing how they team up to ask for treats, walks, and squizzles! Poor Winter got a scratch. anyway, bare in mind that although both ur dog n cat received their vaccinations, they only protect them from harmful diseases. for external injuries, best to make sure they are not inflame by putting diluted Dettol or prescribed antiseptic cream.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32390138.post-1157964437184651432006-09-11T16:47:00.000+08:002006-09-11T16:47:00.000+08:00Nope. I didnt trust her with my cats at first as she has a bad history of killing civet cats. But somehow, when one of my cat managed to crawl outdoor (I do not let them go out door anymore because I am afraid they will get stolen or ran over by a car), Winter just licked my cat until he is all wet! I guess my cat knew that Winter would not do them any harm.

It is indeed quite amazing. I will try to post a video of Winter and Shadow (who is missing since June) later. The love Winter shows Shadow and all my cats is truly rare.Just Sharlene and the Spice Catshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12840714845097172876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32390138.post-1157963787609005372006-09-11T16:36:00.000+08:002006-09-11T16:36:00.000+08:00Winter has a face of a Husky. eSpecially at the t...Winter has a face of a Husky. eSpecially at the tip of the brows.

iT's really hard rare for a dog not to attack a cat. bUt for your case, i pressume they grew up together?bChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01506751950417123367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32390138.post-1157959978717563772006-09-11T15:32:00.000+08:002006-09-11T15:32:00.000+08:00Haha.... Whatever you mean by Cat not having a 'he...Haha.... Whatever you mean by Cat not having a 'heart', it is true that a dog is more loyal and much more willing to please its owner than a cat. But cats knows and respects its owner, Well, at least all my cats do. They do not bite me. Sometimes they try to playfully, but a loud 'NO' or 'OUCH' and they will stop.

Scratches, however, is quite common. Winter sometimes accidently give me some scratches too, when she tried to jump up on me. For some reason, Winter do not likes other dogs. She is aggressive to most of the dogs she met. However, she seems to like cats.

I guess with all the pets, whether its dogs or cats, you need to induce the discipline in them. You must teach them that you are the boss and they must respect you. Of course, you need to give them a lot of love and they will give it back to you unconditionally.Just Sharlene and the Spice Catshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12840714845097172876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32390138.post-1157959099012512132006-09-11T15:18:00.000+08:002006-09-11T15:18:00.000+08:00If you have a dog as your pet, it does have "heart...If you have a dog as your pet, it does have "heart" one to owner and it family members. Unfortunately, cat does not have heart as dog. According to survey that I read before, cat does have a few owner one, so don't be surprise if your cat bite you when accidentally touch it feeding bowl. So, cat will not cry if you dump your cat to other people.Well, looks like Winter is a sweet old dog. Go Winter Go... She is a old and lonely dog at your back yard. Get Winter a partner, she is lonely leh coz there is no other dog in this house to accompany her.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
