This morning when I came out of my room, I saw Ginger, waiting for me at the corner of the corridor, inside the old small litter box that we no longer use (coz it was too small). I quickly ran back inside the room, grabbed the camera and managed to snap 2 photos.
Ginger fits nicely in the old litter box, looking up at me with her laser eyes.
When I bend down to get a closer picture, she stood up and walked towards me.
This fluffy bed that was cast aside by the Spice Cats. Nobody use it anymore.

Scoop and Au, and the stray cats at the back love tiger beer boxes (And not just for the tigger picture either!) because you can peel back the top of the box a little. Au sits inside, hiding in a cardboard fort while Scoop pokes in a paw and "fishes" for Au. The outside strays use them to park their kittens and keep them warm.

katztales, I have not tried the tiger beer boxes. Never bought any can drinks in boxes. I think my mom may have a box, will check with her whether she still has it. Then the Spice Cats would have a new toy!
I know, isn't it so sad? You think you're being sweet and buy them something all soft and fuzzy and they just want to sleep in the knife drawer. :(

Why not give it to winter instead? :P
Mom bought us a special bed, too, but we much prefer a chair or the people bed!
kiwlm, mmm....Pepper loves the sofa and Ginger loves my bed, so I do not think size is a matter.
As for giving it to Winter, she'll turn the bed black in less that a day! I have tried that with a towel.

Your fluffy bed looks nice though! I'd enjoy sleeping in that much more than the litterbox. But you look very content there!
I bought my cat a nice bed with roof, she also didn't once sleep in it
We both sleep on couch backs, kitchen chairs, on the bed and on the rug. But we've never slept in a litter box! Ginger, you look quite comfortable in there - such a pretty kitty you are!

Mommy has brought me five beds(crazy
woman my mommy) and a mesh cage and I never used any. I like the hamper or closet
better cause thier cozy.
Look on the bright side. The last time I bought a fancy, plush cat bed, the kitty decided to use it as a litter box. :)
Now all the cat beds are cardboard boxes with old towels folded as padding. They're happy. I'm happy.

Hahaha.... Only dragonheart seems to appreciate the nice gesture.
I think we have a lesson to be learnt here. Why waste money on nice expensive things when they are happy with simple cheap things.
