Sesame's Crush

Sesame has grown incredibly over the past 1 year. He'll be 1 year old soon, his birthday is coming up, 16th August.

Even when he was still a baby, he somehow loves to hang around Ginger. This picture was taken when Sesame is about 1 month's old, still a tiny baby.

Everytime that he was not with his mother, Pepper, he was with Ginger.

This was taken when he was 6 months old. He has grown a lot and is almost the same size as Ginger. But still the SMALLEST Spice Cats. He still loves to be close to Ginger.

This was taken just last week! Whenever Ginger sits at the door, Sesame would go sit beside her. He is so much bigger than Ginger now. He is now the BIGGEST Spice Cat.

He oftens kisses Ginger in the face. Little does he know that Ginger actually likes Garlic. (Read about it here and here)

Schmoozing Award

Radcliff, Allie, Luna & Ozzie have dominated us for the Schmoozing Award! Wow! We are so excited!

"As it goes, schmoozing is the natural ability 'to converse casually, especially in order to gain an advantage or make a social connection.' Good schmoozers effortlessly weave their way in and out of the blogosphere, leaving friendly trails and smiles, happily making new friends along the way. They don’t limit their visits to only the rich and successful, but spend some time to say hello to new blogs as well. They are the ones who engage others in meaningful conversations, refusing to let it end at a mere hello - all the while fostering a sense of closeness and friendship."

Here are the rules:

Each award winner is to display the badge on the sidebar of his blog with a link to the post which contains the explanation of the award, then nominate five bloggers to receive the award.

So we nominate:

1. Gattina and her lovely cats, especially Arthur and Rosie.
2. Daisy, we are just so impressed by her good manners, even to a lizard!
3. Katztales, Au and Scoop, the lovely Malaysian Mancats!
4. Dragonheart, because Mommy envy his mommy, no fur flying around the house everyday.
5. Blondie, and her 20lbs King!

Close Up

We all hate close-up photos. It shows too much of our imperfections. This goes the same for cats.

I told Mommy not to post this photo! I look horrible in it! First she snapped this photo too close and now she wanna publicize it to the world!

See! This one is so much better! Don't be fooled by the previous photo. I am actually a very handsome cat.

The Little Furball is back

Still remember the Lion Cut that Ginger had last year?

She doesn't really look like a lion because she doesn't have enough fur on her neck and chest.

But I think she is incredibly cute.....

Now, the fur has grown back 100%, if not more.....

The little princess. Unlike Sesame, Ginger has long straight fur.

I think Ginger has the longest fur, among the Spice Cats. But Sesame has the thickest fur.

With all these fur, the Spice Cats house is NEVER fur-free. This is how my vacuum cleaner looks like.

The amount of fur the vacuum sucks up every month. Its amazing how much the Spice Cats shed and still look so fluffy and furry.

A Walk in the Yard

About 3 weeks ago, I was quite free on Saturday and decided to bring the Spice Cats out for a walk in the front yard.

Garlic was the first to explore the outdoor.

He was very unsure at first. Looked right.

Looked left.

Then looked at me with his big wide eyes.

After awhile, he started to realize that the grass are quite tasty.

He just kept on licking and munching the grass. Not sure whether he really eaten any.

Then he settled down nicely on the grass, enjoying the evening sun.

All this while, the other 3 Spice Cats were looking out at us from the door.

But when I brought the other 3 Spice Cats out, they all struggled to break free from the leash and just wanted to get back indoor. Looks like I will just have to try with them again next time.

The Killer is back

Note: This post consists of picture of dead animal.

For the past 2 months, dead bodies are turning up in my backyard every 2 weeks or so. Actually the dead bodies have stopped for almost 6 months, and I am happily getting used to the fact that I can retire from being the Professional Body Remover. But looks like I cant get away from the job. Sigh.

A tiny rat/mouse every 2 weeks or so.....

Winter tried to grab the rat before I managed to dispose of it and I quickly shooed her away. Strictly no licking me for 1 whole week! YUCKS!

Then last Friday, a squirrel :(
A gentle harmless squirrel. Why? Sigh.
