New Hiking Experience

Last Sunday, I went for an amazing hike with the usual hiking gang. The hike was challenging and the scenery was amazingly breathtaking. Even I didnt know we have such wonderful view in KL. I am looking forward to going again when I am back from my 17 days vacation!

This photo was taken at about 8am. The sun was shinning bright. Its a beautiful day.

The view was amazing all the way up.

Of course, we made frequest stops to capture the beautiful memories.

As for the hike, it was not as taxing as the Bukit Putih in Cheras, but it was challenging as we maneuvered through the rocks and the 90 degrees slopes!

Going down is also pretty scary!

A guy showing me where to put my leg. It took me quite awhile to come down from this slope. I hate heights!

A view of one peak from another peak. There were many peaks as we climbed up and down.

Last weekend, the Spice Cats were sent to their foster homes for 3 weeks. Sesame and Pepper are staying with Scarlett, while Garlic and Ginger are staying with Pelud.
It was hard having to send them away, even only for 3 weeks. The house is empty, quiet and cold without the cats. I am looking forward to coming back from my trip and bringing them back home!

Wet Kitties

Its bath time at the Spice Cats house last Saturday. Main reason is because I am going away on a 17 days holiday next Thursday and the Spice Cats will be going to Pelud's and Scarlett's house while I am away. So I want them to be clean when they are guests at the kind kitties house.

Sesame always cries the loudest during bath times. People must think I am torturing my kitties!

Sesame trying to lick his fur dry. And as usual, his fur is way too long and he has difficulty getting it out from his mouth.

Garlic : Oh No! Mom is taking pictures of us looking the worst! I better move away!

Garlic : Maybe if I go hide behind the curtains, she won't see me.

Ginger sulking and hiding under tha dining table. Despite that, she is an angel during bath time. She usually kept quiet and very still when I bathe her.

Pepper trying to dry herself under the sunlight by the stairs.

Garlic : I can't believe mummy took so many pictures and put them on our blog!

Gua Tempurung + MyGopeng Resort

I went for another holiday again. This time a short one, just over the weekend, to Gua Tempurung and Gopeng.

We went on the Gua Tempurung Grand Tour which takes 4 hours. Its a memorable caving experience. You don't have to be fit as it is an easy walk through the caves. Just gotta be prepared to get dirty and there are a lot of crawling in water!

Part of the gang. Not many photos are taken as only one of us brought the camera in. You need a water-proof bag if you wanna bring your belonging into the cave as you will get soaked from head to toe.

This is the easy part. In some areas, you have to lay flat on your stomach and crawl. In some areas, we just roll!

The caves are huge and beautiful.

Then we head to MyGopeng resort. The durian lovers absolutly adores the place as there are durian trees everywhere and you can eat as much as you want.

Our Hill Top "Chalet" that fits 24 of us. No air-con as the night air is quite cool. Bathrooms are walking distance away.

We get to see all types of insects. Not sure what this is called.

We also visited the waterfall not far from our resort. The guys had most fun there.

Sesame: That looks fun but I am glad mummy is back and I get to sit in front of my fan again. My face is blur because the fan is blowing in my face and my fur is flying everywhere.

Garlic's Own Hiding Place

Garlic loves to hide in the PTU. He now learnt to close the PTU door after he went inside.

Just this afternoon, the maid came and I had to go through the normal routine of catching the Spice Cats and putting them into the cage. Garlic is no where to be found, not even under the sofa. Then, I found him here.....
