It is coooldddd.......

When Garlic first came back from his grooming session at Cathy's, he was feeling cold whenever he is in my room with the aircon. He seems to prefer the lion cut, when his chest is full of fur. Cathy said its a man thing, men and their chest hair (in this case, fur).

But generally the cats seems to like their fur short, especially when they do not get to stay in the aircon room all day. For me, its less furball lying all over the floor! So the next grooming session, Garlic will have a Lion cut again.

Garlic : I feel cold and naked....

Garlic : Plus, its really comfortable under here....

Damp Bedsheets

It has been raining everyday. I washed my bedsheets in the morning when the sun is bright then it started to rain. So I decided to bring it into the house, under the aircon, for it to dry.

For some reason, Ginger seems to love the damp bedsheets. She jumped onto the bedsheets, took a comfortable position and refused to move!

I think its the combination of the damp bedsheets and the aircon, making it extra cool. And its heaven for Ginger.

Ginger : Life simply cant be any better.....

Sunlight

It was a Sunday afternoon, Sesame was enjoying the sunlight shinning through the glass door.

Too much sun also makes him sleepy.

So he decided to find a more comfortable place to bask in the sunlight.

Sesame : Mummy, you seems to be holding that thing in your face for awhile now.

Zzzzz.....Zzzzz.....

Chubbiest Spice Cat

Sesame has grown so big and chubby so fast that it amazed me. When Pepper gave birth to Sesame, I expected Sesame to be short haired, like the typical Malaysian stray cat. Pepper was a stray after all and we thought Sesame's father is a typical stray cat. Well, I was VERY wrong. Sesame is now the biggest Spice Cats, taking over Garlic. His fur is also incredibly thick and curly on his neck and tummy. Although not as playful as when he was a kitten, he is still very active and loves a good game with the furry mouse.

Sesame loves his daily Brewers Yeast tablet. All I have to do is shake the bottle and he will come running. And if you are not careful, he will also steal Ginger's or Pepper's tablet. Garlic does not like Brewers Yeast.

When I weighed him at the vet last month, he was 3.3kg. I wonder what he weighs now. I will be bringing him to the vet for his yearly vaccin in August (he will be 1 year old in August!). Am really looking forward to see how much weight he can put on by then.

Carpet Cat

Recently the Carpet Cat paid the Spice Cats a visit again. She paid them a visit during CNY Eve (see here). I called her the Carpet Cat because her tabby marking is really very pretty and she looks like a walking carpet.

She is the friendly neighbourhood cat. I am not sure whether she belongs to anyone but I know my neighbours sometimes feed her. I once fed her tuna biscuits and she refused to eat it. This shows that she is very well-fed. She is very slim. I think she has been spayed because I have never seen her pregnant.

The Carpet Cat, when I first spotted her at the door.

The Carpet Cat spotted me and didn't mind having her pictures taken.

A close-up on Carpet Cat, but its still a bit blur through the netting.

Pepper saw the Carpet Cat and came to check her out.

To my surprise, Pepper didn't hiss. They just greeted and smelled each other.

Pepper was kinda sad when her new friend left.

Visitor on CNY eve

As I was busy with my last minute cleaning on CNY eve, I suddenly noticed that all the Spice Cats were gathering at the door. I went to check out the big attraction.

Oh, it was just the friendly neighborhood carpet cat that I often pat when she comes to the front porch of my house.

Stranger Alert!

Oh, the stranger is leaving.....

Not very often I get to snap photos of the Spice Cats sitting on one straight row like that, so here is one with flash!
