The Cats of Bon Ton

I went for a short holiday in Langkawi. One of the nice restaurant cum mini-hotel I visited is surrounded by cats! The owner has about 5 dogs and more than 10 cats. The dogs were tied up (with a very long rope so that they can move freely) and the cats roam the hotel and restaurant. I managed to snap some photos of the friendly cats that came to say Hi at our table.

The biggest cat around, a very handsome tomcat.

The petite and gentle smallest female, Blondie. She followed me around when I was snapping photos of the restuarant.

Blondie and the tomcat came over for a head rub.

Another black cat.

A cat, napping on one of the chair.

What you looking at?

And of course, the beautiful restaurant.

A view of the padi field, you can choose to have your meal right beside the padi field.

Its a small hotel with swimming pool, overlooking the padi field.

The yummy Nyonya fried rice I had for lunch.

Dennis is cheered up a little by this post! the food looks delicious!! And it's nice that dogs get tied and cats roam free--it gives one the sense that all is right with the world. Meow!
