I went for another holiday last week. Pulau Gemia in Kuala Terengganu. It was a truly memorable one.
The room with the amazing view.
The room. I love the hanging chair at the balcony.
Cyrstal clear water.
And turtles! Pulau Gemia is also a turtle conservatory that collect turtle eggs, hatch them, and release the baby turtles back to the sea when they are a few months old. We also realized that people still steal turtle eggs!
I didnt know turtles eat jelly fishes. Apparently a lot of turtles mistaken plastic bags thrown to the sea as jelly fish and died after eating them.

Hi Sharlene,
Terengganu has nice islands. I have been to Pulau Kapas and Pulau Redang. These islands were fantastic!
But I never knew Pulau Gernia is such a wonderful island too.. maybe next trip to Terengganu I will step my foot on that Island.
How are Spice Cats..
Farah,
The Spice Cats are doing great. Pelud is also staying with us for 1 month. I will post some photos of Pelud soon :)
I didn't know Pulau Gemia is so beautiful, more over a turtle conservatory!!
I love Sea Turtles, unfortunately i didn't manage to see any during my previous trip to Pulau Redang. How many days did you stay at Pulau Gemia?
I miss the Spice Cats, in particularly, Sesame! Please do post some latest pics on them whenever possible, thanks!
Lucky thing to be on holiday again - and to see turtles! Bet the cats were happy to see you back though :-)
What a beautiful place - mom's loving the sight of it!
That looks beautiful! :) The turtles are very cute.
I love turtles. They are just so prehistoric and fascinating!
Wow! Mom's mouth fell open when she saw that view!! Those turtles have different footies than our swamp turtles!

Hi souled_out,
There is only 1 resort in Pulau Gemia, the Gem Island Resort. You can check it out at http://www.gemisland.com.my/.
We went on the Free & Easy, which means only room and breakfast is covered. This way, we can choose our own lunch and dinner. The food there is fantastic.
Make sure you ask for the Water Villas facing the sea!
