Wet Kitties

Its bath time at the Spice Cats house last Saturday. Main reason is because I am going away on a 17 days holiday next Thursday and the Spice Cats will be going to Pelud's and Scarlett's house while I am away. So I want them to be clean when they are guests at the kind kitties house.

Sesame always cries the loudest during bath times. People must think I am torturing my kitties!

Sesame trying to lick his fur dry. And as usual, his fur is way too long and he has difficulty getting it out from his mouth.

Garlic : Oh No! Mom is taking pictures of us looking the worst! I better move away!

Garlic : Maybe if I go hide behind the curtains, she won't see me.

Ginger sulking and hiding under tha dining table. Despite that, she is an angel during bath time. She usually kept quiet and very still when I bathe her.

Pepper trying to dry herself under the sunlight by the stairs.

Garlic : I can't believe mummy took so many pictures and put them on our blog!

Do u bathe them all at once? or one by one? I bathe Pops and Meow separately and it takes me a long time! Imagine 4....And Poppy looks as scruffy as the Spice cats after bathing...and pic #2 is something i can identify with...so funny..

Oh my ! the poor things ! they really look unhappy !! I am always astonished that cats are bathed in the US ! In Europe we never do unless for a medical reason. My friend where I stayed in England has 3 cats (before she had 6) but they too were never bathed. Vets here say that it is not good for a cat.
I wish you a nice journey in Europe I only hope for you that the weather will be better ! I fortunately had a little sunshine in London but everywhere in northern Europe it is cold and rainy. Bring the sunshine along with you ! everybody will be gratefull !!

Hmm... seemed like it's about time for me to do the same. I will have to wait for my anti-flea drops to arrive first. You know, with this kind of humid weather, they tend to attract fleas easily. thanks to my discovery that I do not have to get 400-500 fleas out from their bodies now. It's a real tedious job.

mummymeow, I bath them once after another. Normally takes me about 1 - 1.5hrs, excluding the blowing and drying. If the sun it out, I'll let them dry on their own as they really hate the hair dryer.

gattina, the weather here in Malaysia is really hot and humid. After about 2 mths or so, you can feel that their fur start sticking together and they will have more matted hair. That's why we have to bath them :)

criz lai, I use the Frontline spray to keep the fleas away.
