Can you get it for me?

Last night, Pelud was making these weird noises from upstairs. This is unlike the normal ‘meow’ she uses to call me when I am home. So I went upstairs to check. She quickly came to me on top of the stairs and looked at me. She then walked towards my room door, then looked up. I followed her eyes and guess what I saw.

The poor lizard knows its being watched and dare not move.

Pelud, looking at the lizard so intensely. She turned to look at me a few times, telling me to get it for her. But I told her the lizard is out of my reach.

Ginger was the first to come to check out what is the big commotion about.

Sesame and Garlic soon joined the crowd. Sesame tried to climb the wall but of course, he failed. Garlic tried to laser the poor lizard with his laser eyes.

The lizard escaped, unharmed.

He, he, he what a funny scene and they look so cute watching the lizard ! Looks very exotic to me having a lizard in my house, lol ! we only have spiders hanging at the ceiling and Pookie loves them. Lizards you only find in Southern Europe I saw some in Italy and Spain. My very first cat catched once a lizard in Italy and was very angry when it escaped, leaving her with it's tail in her mouth !

Oh, we know this problem, because we have a lot of spiders in our house. Maus & Allegra have a lot of fun with them.

Pelud loves to eat lizard. She will be licking her lips when she sees one.I will carry her and pretend to help her to reach the lizard. Well, she has different meows for different situations. If you don't attend to her she may come down to call you to follow her.She once meow me to follow her and lead me to her bowl which has only a few pellets of biscuits.

Ha! We have these really quick bugs in Chicago--I think they are called silverfish. They've been in every apartment I've every had. They run SO fast, so Webster FLIES after them. When they are on the ceiling, he waits and waits and tries to climb up the wall.

We don't have those lizardy things in the Big Piney Woods, either. Maybe you could mail me one???

Please disregard Precious' post about mailing a lizard.

Hahaha....you comments really made me laugh, out loud.

blondie, climd the wall? Webster is so much like Sesame. But Sesame is much too fat to climb the wall.

Precious, though we love too, but I do not think a lizard can be mailed. You mommy would not like to get a lizard in the mailbox either!

I always chase away the lizard before Pelüd gets to see it. There are no lizards in Germany. I wonder how Lizzy (my daughter's cat) reacts to a lizard.
Sesame is on the same wavelenth as Pelud- "I get you". Garlic will always use his laser eyes. Where is Pepper?

That was one lucky lizard to escape from all those kitties! We have never seen lizards here. But it looks like they might be fun!
