Pepper was the first to greet the kitten, very gently. I am pleasantly surprised.
Followed by Ginger..... The 2 male Spice Cats kept their distance....
Pepper won't let the kitten out of her sight, probably that's the motherly instinct kicking in..... I think its very sweet.
I then picked the kitten up and gave him some food. He refused to eat the cat biscuits! Maybe he is not so hungry afterall! So I gave him some tuna, which he ate happily.

After a good dinner, I introduced the kitten to Winter. Winter was very curious and the kitten was very reserved about the big wolf dog.
They soon warmed up and Winter was delighted. She loves kittens.

Sesame, on the other hand, was not friendly at all. When he saw the kitten, he made a loud hiss and the kitten hissed back. I gave Sesame a stern scolding and a long lecture about how he should NOT hiss at less fortunate cats or kittens, especially if the kitten is smaller than he is.
The kitten then settled down in between my legs.
I reminded myself that I cannot afford to take in anymore cats. Besides I am not sure whether the kitten's mother is still around or whether he belongs to anyone. So I let the kitten back outside. Since I am bringing 2 of the Spice Cats to the vet on Saturday, I planned to take the kitten together for a checkup and vaccine, if he is still around. Probably get him spayed as well if he is old enough.
But the next day when I go to work, the kitten was nowhere to be seen. On Friday, I saw the kitten again, inside my neighbour's house. Mmmm.... probably my neighbour has decided to adopt the kitten (I certainly hope so!). I will keep my eyes open for this little fella in the future.

Awww.......the kitten looks skinny and about the size Precious was when I found her. I hope he/she has a good furrever home.
CalicoMom Toni
The kitten is so skinny! He has you to thank for giving him food.
Ooh, sorry for being a "ghost reader" of your Blog for quite some time!
I love the Spice Cats and Winter (^^ )! Its so nice reading about them!
Thanks for caring for the kitty! I like how little kittens will walk towards someone they feel they can depend on and sit near them, it just gives the best feeling in the world =D!
Aww, the kitten's very cute ... you were nice to take it in and feed it.
Ooh, sorry for double posting, want to ask, may i know where did you get the mouse toy thing?
My little girl HeeChul is getting abit the "emotional" these days, and i suspect cause i've been paying less attention to her (exams)! What do you often play with the Spice Cat?
Thank you (^^ )!
Poor little kitten! I hope he will fatten up soon. He seems nice, too.
You are just as bad as the Mom. It's not only me and eight Brats, but she has started taking care of the feral kitties outside. Bah. She should devote all her time and energy to ME. I wish she would learn that.
Either way, I still think you did a nice thing for that kitten. I just hope he does find a forever home.
eiko, I bought it at the pet shop in Puchong, behind Tesco. They got a lot of cool cat toys.
Like you, I am tied up with work, gym, friends, etc....so I do not spend a lot of time with the Spice Cats. I play with them when I come back from gym at night and on weekends. But they often play with each other and keep each other's company :)
I hope your neighbor will adopt it too! I can't believe how good your cats were to it. Darius would just have a fit. I couldn't go through the process of him getting to know another kitten....it is just too hard. Plus we have 3 cats and 2 dogs and 3 horses so I am pet broke already! But I always see kittens and want one!
Poor little mite. Hope your neighbour takes him in, and feeds him and spays him so that there won't be more unwanted kittens on the street!
Oh, I'm so happy that little kitten got to meet Winter and the Spice Cats. He sure looked like he needed some friends!
Oh please oh please may the neighbor take in the kitten!
You are so wonderful to help the little kitten out. That picture of the cat and dog cracked me up and made me swell up with animal love.
